When I first started learning colour grading in DaVinci Resolve, I was skeptical about digital products like PowerGrades and LUTs because I believed they could be easily replicated by following tutorials on YouTube.
But after coming across Danny's channel, learning from his tips, and eventually joining his in-person workshop in Malaysia, I began to see the real value of these products.
Yes, they definitely improve efficiency, especially if you're planning to monetize your colour grading skills. But what I found even more valuable, is the opportunity to learn through reverse engineering. By studying the node trees, I don't rely solely on gut feeling. I now understand what each node does and why it is used. That process has made me even more excited to keep learning and to understand the logic behind every suggested node and look.
